First week in Kitchen

It was only the first week of classes but I already fell in love with the course. I know i think it is too soon to say this but eventhough I've to wake up at 6 everyday in the morning to get ready for class which starts at 8 everyday in the morning but then, i feel excited every morning.

In my first day of Garde Manger class, we made salad dressing. Mayonaise and vinaigrette. Garde Manger classes are classes where we make finger foods. Like appetizers, salads, soups and etc. Well appetizers, salads and soups are not finger foods la but then i duno how to explain it in layman's term. Maybe i should say light food then.

Last time i have no knowledge whatsoever about mayonaise. But now i know. The amount of oil used to make the mayonaise...is like oh. my . gosh. Luckily i do not like mayonaise. =D
