Hello People
Omg, so sorry la. I neglected my blog again. =(
It's becoming a habit for me. I lost my blogging mojo. Sigh. Well now im back? I shouldnt say im so sure bout that . Anyways, updates for now.
My first semester in KDU just ended a few merry days ago. My whole month of november was filled with exams. First two weeks was practical exams. Pastry exam was the first one , and i nailed it. My favourite subject ma. Den the other practical exams i kinda flipped on it. I failed basic cooking ( culinary essential) but had a redo the week after the exam, and i passed. I failed coz my brown stock wasnt BROWN. the irony.
Next practical exam was garde manger. which is also known as the cold kitchen. My dish to prepare was pretty easy but i was nervous and i mess things up. I know the procedure but my end product came out not exactly like how they wanted it to be. So kinda got screwed by the chefs. Left. right. Up. Down. Sides. I came out from the kitchen having no face at all.
My theory papers were awesome. Pretty smooth because all of us got helped from the lecturer. So yeah. Hopefully i managed to ace it. Less words. more pics. =)
